Travelling by train through Europe was a wish of me and my daughter of 12 years old. We enjoyed the journey and slept very well in the train from München to Rome.    Value for money  Convenience

    "A Pleasant trip"

     Jitwadee a.  06/05/2013
This was a direct trip (no stops) between Berlin and Paris. Disappointed that in Berlin was unable to use the First Class Lounge as we were in Prague. Journey was slow and very pleasant. Train stopped often but as we were either sleeping or resting it did not matter. Service was excellent although not as good as the earlier journey from Paris to Prague.    Value for money  Convenience

    "Rail trip"

Recently took a train trip from Amsterdam to Dusseldorf and back. The timing was excellent and the train ride was fantastic. I managed to see some of the landscape of both Amsterdam and Gerrmany while on the train and the ride was very smooth. This is similar to fast train ride experience in Japan and maybe a notch better. Thanks to Rail Europe for ensuring a pleasant journey    Comfort  Value for money  Convenience

    "Terrible trip"

     Wellington y.  25/03/2013
We had a terrible experience with the railway system on our recent trip. Instructions at the stations were inadequate. Very little facility for luggage on the trains (we were probably carrying too many pieces of luggage). The train from Liege to Maastricht was seriously overcrowded.    Comfort  Value for money  Convenience

    "Berlin-Zurich Train 1258"

     Rohanjit m.  27/12/2012
The CNL was a confortable journey. I was travelling with a friend, and we had booked a twin bed coupe. The size of the coupe was very small, probable because of our respective backpacks. There is just about enough space to stand. So if you're travelling heavy with a couple of cases, you'd have to find an arrangement for the luggage. The staff/crew response was good and cordial. We were not tired after the journey and a cold meal was also served on time. The tickets had to be physically mailed across, we would have preferred e-tickets.    Comfort  Value for money  Convenience

    "Un organised, very improper "

     Nicholas c.  06/11/2012
After having the wrong time printed on my ticket, I had no choice but to pay for my own hotel room and come back the next day. I decided to call the company to double check that everything was in order. apparently not. I had to reprint my ticket; contrary to what i was told. My ticket was not reprinted but a small note was written on my old ticket, and I was told that the conductor will give me a place in the train. On arrival to the train I was put in a six man booth when I paid for a first class. I have had no reimbursement and I will not be using this again.    Comfort  Value for money  Convenience

    "Nice experience"

We had a very nice experience. Got the tickets on time. Never had any issues with the tickets we purchased through rail europe. But it would have been better if there is an email notification as soon as the tickets are shipped.    Comfort  Value for money  Convenience

    "Berlin to Paris by train"

     Ian w.  26/10/2012
We were disappointed in this train. By the information when booked we expected to be travelling on a hi-speed ICE train. The service, train and facilities were in fact quite different and the cabin we had was basic and quite crammed. We were booked in a cabin that was designated as a family cabin that could be potentially linked with the adjoining cabin. Other cabins that were not 'likked' like this were a little more spacious. One of these would have been much better for a couple. Basic food was available from train staff, but there was no buffet car. We have previously travelled O/N from Paris to Barcelona (2001) and this was a much better service. Over all this was not a great experience.    Comfort  Value for money  Convenience
