Reviews & ratings Paris - Nice
convenience and comfort but a bit expensive
A very nice clean and comfortable train journey down to the French Riviera! It was so quiet the family and I were able to take a nice nap before our next part of our trip! Would recommend to anyone to take this high speed train!
It was fast but there were just too many stops on the way to Marseille. The luggage storage was too small for the number of passengers in the coach, especially with some travellers who have big suitcases.
It was lifetime experience for ourselves as we are Indian never used this types of facilities can get in running train.your all staff are very very helpful and friendly. We are further planning for another trip with your railway and you please advise how we can get plans for Switzerland trip from Paris.
TGV has lived upto expectations.
We loved the train ride from Paris to Nice. Very comfortable, scenic, and good food. Would have appreciate a little more presence of staff throughout 5.5 hour ride and the bathrooms were disgusting halfway through trip with urine all over the floor so some bathroom maintenance would have been good. Otherwise, we were sorry we booked a flight back to Paris after our stay in Nice as the train was so comfortable and convenient.
Reasonably Pleasant trip. Many helpful train staff but there are always a few black sheep
This was my experience of A TGV and it was amazing. Though it was a long journey of around 5 and half hours, but the train was comfortable and we were able to relax comfortably. It started on time and reached well on time. The speeds were exemplary as it touched 300 kmph mark during the trip.
France Rail Pass is required to be validated physically before first journey. This should be avoided. Instead of paper documents make it digital and make facility like e check in. our tain was was at 7.24. The window opened at 7 with a queue . Hence validation before travel was a bit hassle. other wise very comfortable, value for money.
We took this train on the way to Nice from Geneva. Connected to a TGV at Avignon. A good connecting train.
Over 1000 kms of journey in less than 6 hours in train was very comfortable. The seats were good and the journey made us relaxed; the timing of departure from Nice and arrival at Paris are convenient because as tourists were ready for second half of the day for sight seeing. The only suggestion is TGV should offer print at home option for the reservation for the euro-rail pass holders instead of keeping the couriering of physical reservation paper as only way.
Train ride was fine and there is sufficient space for huge luggage. The pricing is quite standard and considering i bought this from Singapore it is a bit more pricy. The drawback is I am not able to purchase from TGV directly on the main site because I do not own a credit card issued in France. Overall, is recommended and nice ride.
Train ride is good, and the same drawback I had on another review. I am not able to purchase from TGV directly on the main site because I do not own a credit card issued in France. Overall, is recommended and nice ride.
Very comfortable trip but no wifi was the only problem...
It was a great way to commute between Nice and Monte Carlo.
