Reviews & ratings Milan - Paris
TGV is fast and easy. They usually make lots of announcements in several languages (though sometimes hard to understand). Great views through the French and Italian countrysides!
We enjoyed our train trip. It was easy to get tickets online, our seats were as we expected, and the train manager even arranged taxi service for us when we arrived in Paris.
i had an awesome time aboard the train. except i wish there was free wifi connectivity.
We have experienced this trip before, but we got to introduce our friends to train travel in Europe. They and U.S. Enjoyed themselves immensely. Nice trip.
Very good trip and very nice personnel on board!
My wife and I enjoyed the experience of travelling on the TGV train from Milano to Paris. Everything about the trip was first class with the exception of the audio announcements which were very badly affected by static and difficult to hear. We found the train trip excellent and highly recommend it to any tourists travelling Europe. Bill
Overall it was a smooth ride but the cabin is very tiny and a bit wore down.
unfortunately you can not get sick or have a trip disruption . if you are unable to use your tickets and cannot get to the staion before the travel date you lose the cost of your ticket at least with airlines you would get something back
Comfortable journey. Having access to wi-fi would have been a positive addition.
The overnight train was a new adventure for me. It was surprisingly comfortable, and I was pleasantly surprised to have a compartment to myself. The finishes were no doubt clean, but they seemed dingy. Perhaps a refresh is in order?
We were booked first class but we left our big luggages at the link between compartment. At the 2nd station from Milan to Paris, the train PA announced be careful of pick pockets
Needs to update the fleet
It was very long trip ,however you should have such facilities of bed to rest. The seats is very hard. There is no place for big bags for most of the passengers except for small ones on the top. What is surprise me that the Iraq Rail in 1970 first class was much more convenient when I use during my travel and has more facilities .
When it comes to traveling by train, I think you get what you paid for. The bunks were very clean and safe, the staff was knowledgeable, and the ride was on time and convenient. We would use the train again.
We feel comfortable and enjoy with serive
