Travel inspiration in Turin and Paris
Turin, an unforgettable experience
Wide streets and 17th-century buildings are surrounded by snow-capped mountains in Turin, dubbed the Capital of the Alps. This wealthy Italian city is a centre for industry, fashion and the arts, with a football-mad population who split their rabid loyalty between giants Juventus and Torino.
Paris, the capital of France
One of the world’s greatest cities, Paris! The capital of France is also known as the City of Light. This enchanting city, at the crossroads of cultures, is the capital of fashion and home to world highlights such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and Avenue des Champs Elysées, to name but a few. In terms of architectural beauty, art history, events, gastronomy and sheer extravagance, Paris is a milestone ahead of any other city on earth. Paris has one of the world’s most extensive public transport systems. You can take a taxi if you are not much of an adventurer, but that would be a pity! Metro (subway or underground), buses and city bicycles are much more fun and are very easy to use, even for beginners.
Reviews & ratings Turin - Paris
"Excellent in every way"James s. 25/05/2015
The train was on time, clean, quiet, and smooth. The food service, selection, and quality were all very good. We were totally pleased!
"Views of France and Italy"Colin t. 27/01/2015
The view out of the window is what makes this train ride special. The train glides through the countryside, the changes outside keep you looking out the window. Unfortunately for us we travelled on a day when everyone wanted to travel and the train was completely full. the luggage rack was completely full, the noise level in the carriages was very high, and we couldn't relax as much as we would like to.
"Great journey!"Cynthia p. 23/10/2014
I love to travel on trains. Going from Paris to Turin was very special. I recommend it.
"Average comfort "Philip t. 17/10/2014
Trains are exactly very new . Interior seating too wasn't as comfy or new. Run-down Food wasn't served free. Had to purchase . Wasn't much variety and the risotto wasnt great . Pre-packed heated up stuff
"Torino to Paris, painlessly"David a. 10/10/2014
Our TGV trip from Torino to Paris was excellent, with beautiful scenery, acceptable food, a very comfortable ride, and convenient connections at both ends of the trip.. My only issue was the signage at Paris' Gare du Nord, which was less than helpful. Other than that, the ride was just what we needed to finish off our Italian vacation.
"Paris to Turin"Linda d. 01/10/2014
We had a very good trip on this busy train although we would have preferred better seats with a window (we only had a small section of a window through which to view the scenery). No complaints otherwise.

"My Journey from France to Ital". 17/07/2014
It was pretty much an enjoyable one and we did have quite a wonderful time - It was quite scenic and the kids enjoyed the beauty of the terrain as well. Even though we traveled first class, the seating was not as comfortable as we expected, this was the only hitch especially considering the long journey. With that exception it was truly a memorable trip.
"A trip to remember". 04/05/2014
Everything was fine except for the announcements you couldn't hear very well in our car. Maybe something wasn't working right. I would suggest an electric screen in the car so you could see the stations or the speed the train has or even some information about the route you travel. Anyway thank you for a wonderful trip.
Overland travel with rail gave us opportunity to see the scenic view of countries visited.

"1st class"Andrew m. 12/01/2014
I enjoyed my 1st class trip from paris to turin, there was alot of leg room and was comfortable. The only thing was that I was suprised there was no food served for 1st class and no wifi. There didnt really seem to be a difference between 1st and 2nd class.
"Not Pleasant". 09/01/2014
Conductor was not helpful. Answers were abrupt, and not disingenuous
"Best value money van buy"Nicolette Daphne n. 30/12/2013
Thank you for a truly memorable experience! You showed exactly why train is the best mode of transport to sight see and travel through Europe. World class indeed! Anthony Naidoo, Johannesburg South Africa
