Reviews & ratings Strasbourg - Paris
TGV made our trip is easier and more convenience.
Very clear bording instructions and seat allocation with prompt departure and arrival timings.
Too cold inside, not very clean in 1st class. I had problems about validating my e-tickets in train.
very convenience and quick. very friendly staff
First class seats are better.. opt for that ! Online system is easy to use, pay, collect n off u go..
the cabinet is not so clean as Swiss train....
We traveled all the way from New Zealand, via Australia and Abu Dhabi. The train was fantastic, better than we'd expected. Surprised how fast it ran, thanks for displaying the info. What a wonderfully smooth trip. Train was clean, uncluttered, on time, and staff were very welcoming. Recommendations: 1. Create e-tickets. We had to pay many $$$'s to have the train tickets couriered to NZ. For our plane
Booking on line was a breeze. As New Zealanders we do not have much experience with train travel. Travelling by TGV is not only a fantastic experience but is so easy to use. Twenty minutes prior to departure you get given a platform number. On the platform there is a digital display which shows the configuration of your train right down to the coach number which corresponds to letters marked on the platform. Easy as. Boarding is made easy by helpful TGV staff. The first class seating is excellent. What a way to travel sitting on the top level watching the French countryside at over 300 kph.
Soon and comfortable.
you should increase the frequency of the train especially during morning - should have train every hour in the morning. there should have machine for us to check the train schedule. pls increase the number of staff to answer and help tourists like us for enquiry and ticket arrangement. it took too long to wait the queue every time
I and my husband travelled from Paris to Strasbourg on 14-09-2013 for a one day visit of the city. We left Paris from Gare de l' Este in the morning at 08:20 and we returned the same day back to Paris leaving Strasbourg at 20:14. Our trip was comfortable and on time and a small problem which we had on boarding the morning train, because on the e-tickets we had we couldn't read the number of our coach was quickly solved by a very polite and helpful conductor.
The journey was great, but I arrived at Gare de la Est very early and wanted to get an earlier train to Strasbourg. Trying to use the ticket machine was of no use to change my ticket. Trying to find a human to discuss about a change was also uof no use.
The train was on time, comfortable and Strasbourg is certainly worth the day trip. Some of us paid Euro54/pax return2nd class - the seats were fine. The ones who paid for 1st class return also liked their seats. Quite the best way to visit Strasbourg from Paris.
Really comfortable, fast train. This was our first time travelling on a train in Europe and we were really happy with the experience. Actually, even more comfortable than flying, very convenient plus lovely views. Food was really expensive though but that's to be expected I guess.
