Reviews & ratings Salzburg - Zurich

"Excellent scenery"

  Kazunori k.
It was a nice journy from Milan to Zurich and train staff was very familiar. More cleanliness is needed, for example full trash boxes.

"71 year old couple"

  Geoffrey d.  11/11/2013
The 9.34am from Zurich on a Friday was crowded but comfortable. Travelling at up to 199MPH, and punctual, it enabled us to travel from Zurich to Manchester in one day. Pretty good. We had come from Budapest to Vienna and Vienna to Zurich via the Arlberg pass earlier in the week with a full day in both Vienna and Zurich. Good hotels near the main stations. A great journey home by rail! Only East Coast let us down!

"Zurich to Paris by train"

  Geoffrey d.  10/11/2013
The whole experience of booking and then travelling with TGV Lyria has been fantastic. I will definitely use it again. Thank you.

"Munich to Salzburg"

  Marda s.  29/10/2013
I pre-booked this trip from Singapore. I was able to collect the ticket from their Singapore office immediately after booking. Arriving in Munich, finding my seat number was easy and it was reserved for me. The train left and arrived on time and the entire trip was smooth. The staff who check the tickets were also polite.

"Convenient way to travel"

  Nokukhanya m.  27/10/2013
I travelled alone (female) from Geneva to Zurich and felt safe all the way. The train was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the scenery on the three hour long trip and once I got to Zurich main station I had to change trains to get to my hotel. The information desk at Zurich station were happy to direct me to the correct platform.

"COMMITED"

  Arif Husain k.  21/10/2013
IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE , MY FAMILY ENJOYED A LOT DURING ALL THE WAY TO ZURICH . I AM VERY IMPRESSED THE WAY RAIL EURO OPERATES AND I WANT TO GIVE A NEW SLOGAN TO RAIL EURO " ALWAYS ON TIME" REALLY I APPRECIATE THE SERVICE AND PROFESSIONALISM IN ALL ASPECT.

"Had a good ride"

  Arif Husain k.  21/10/2013
We enjoyed our ride from Paris to Zurich. The train was very punctual and comfortable.

"amazing"

  Arif Husain k.  20/10/2013
I travelled with my husband from Zurich to Paris on TGV. Our experience was excellent as it was perfectly timed and we need not ask anyone for the Platform or how to reach upto the Train, it was very clearly displayed on the neon sign board and believe me it took us just three minutes to get into the train after getting down from the Taxi at Zurich station. Inside the train it was very comfortable, Both telephone and I pad electric chargers were there. Our both Indian Mobile as well as Swiss mobile worked well throughout the journey. We could get Vegetarian food at the Pantry- freshly cooked and of course mildly spicy.

"Switerland "

  Arif Husain k.  17/10/2013
I have enjoyed my tripe from Paris to Zurich

"Train to Zurich"

  Sandra m.  09/10/2013
The journey itself was quick and comfortable. Just one train (no changes needed)! Booking online was really simple and convienent. The only trouble I had was using the automatic machine to get my ticket at the train station. I almost missed my train (despite being 20 min early) because I had to wait in a long line up to speak to an agent to print my ticket (and they were not very empathetic).

"Great Experience"

  Robyn f.  26/09/2013
We recently travelled 1st class on the TGV Lyria from Paris to Zuerich. It was our first trip on a high speed train

"delay of train"

  Wei s.  26/09/2013
It was a good journey by train from Milano to Zurich. Just one issue was the delay of train about 1 hour. It was late departure about 15 mins from Milan, then our train was behind schedule from each station. Finally, we have to change another train to Zurich at the second last stop. We arrived Zurich 1 hour later than our scheduled time. This is a little bit annoying because we only have limited time to visit Zurich then catch another train.

"5 -Day Trip"

  Hari s.  25/09/2013
It was the second time that we had taken a Swiss Rail Pass. It turned out to be quite convenient as we had to travel between Geneva, Lusanne, and Zurich, for the 5 days that we spent in Switzerland. What makes ths Pass even better is that it is valid for any mode of public transport, with the only exception being the Metro in Lusanne.

"Zurich to Paris in the rain"

  Hari s.  20/09/2013
What better way to see the lovely countywide in the rain than to be in a comfortable first class carriage from Zurich to Paris? It takes less time than to fly there due to the long time spent waiting in airports and long drives into/from town. The carriage was comfortable, the meal was not bad at all and it was most comfortable. I'd do it again. And again
