Reviews & ratings Paris - Rennes
"France trip"Stanley s. 19/08/2015
The TGV is a nice train. Be aware that if you are using the Eurorail pass, you must have them punch/stamp your pass for each day of use before you get on the train. Find the place in the train terminal to get this done before your train is ready to depart. Also, we had a hard time booking seat reservations for one of the trips. There were plenty of seats but they system indicated there weren't. It took a lot of emails/complaints (long before we headed to France) to get them to figure it out and get our seats reserved. They showed available before I bought the Eurail passes and then immediately were not right after I bought them. Just be careful. The pass is worthless if you can't get a seat on the train you need.
"Renne to St Malo"Andrew w. 21/05/2015
Great train ride, train seemed relatively new and extremely clean. Was a wonderful and smooth ride.
"Montparnasse to Rennes"Andrew w. 21/05/2015
The trip itself was very smooth and extremely comfortable. The only issue was that since I had taken the train in from Munich to Paris, I was unaware that the next train would be departing from another train station across town. My inability to speak French (totally my fault) meant that getting help from any of the station information points was also quite a futile endeavour. Luckily a staffer was finally able to explain what I had to do and I jumped in a cab to get to Montparnasse.

"finding the reserved carriage"Jeanette p. 15/11/2014
the number of the carriages were hard to find, and i walked the whiole length of the train without finding my reserved seat in its carriage.
"Great journey"Shaokai l. 14/11/2014
Car is very comfortable, quiet and fast.
"First time East to West"Simon f. 03/11/2014
Once in Montparnasse locating the train was simple, excellent signage. Staff very helpful and bi-lingual when my French was not up to the mark. As normal leg room is a little limited but a 1.86M I have got used to that, but a little more space would have increased the star rating to 5. The only disappointment in my whole journey was that I faced backwards on each of the 3 sectors that I traveled,
"Good trip"Catherine m. 12/10/2014
The booking of the trip on Rail Europe was simple, easy and efficient. The train trip was good, there were no problems and I would definitely use Rail Europe to book future train trips in Europe.
"Evran to Paris"Fiona h. 07/10/2014
Clean, fast, comfortable and well organised train. One can actually unstandadr the announcements. In some countries I have trouble understnading the ones in English!
"Fast and pleasant"Juan f. 05/10/2014
It was an efficient, fast, and pleasant ride
"SEATS"Silvia s. 25/09/2014
I had a recent trip from Paris to Rennes. Everything was good, but me and my friend had a difficult time to know where our seats were located. We expected to see the seat numbers as airplanes do. When we finally thought we found our seats they were taken, so I we weren't sure where we were supposed to seat. It's hard when you also come with suitcases.
"Train to Lausanne "Rodolfo b. 17/09/2014
Fast trip because the two cities are near each other. We moved to Lausanne because we had to take another train very early next morning. If not we would stay at Montreux.
"Seat Selection"Ho Yan Jenny c. 15/09/2014
I cannot make a seat selection during the reservation throught website. When I was on board, all the seats are "facing backward" of the train direction (both to and back trains) which were actually a bit uncomfortable.
"First Trip on TGV "Randon f. 14/09/2014
With the exception of the 3 1/2 hour delay because of the accident with the cyclist, the trip was great. And even the delay wasn't bad as the trains in Rennes were held to accommodate those of us who were changing trains to other destinations, in my case, Saint-Malo. Very very comfortable. and very very clean. I loved it!
