Reviews & ratings Paris - Nice
"Luggage bin too small"Pedrito l. 23/07/2015
It was fast but there were just too many stops on the way to Marseille. The luggage storage was too small for the number of passengers in the coach, especially with some travellers who have big suitcases.
"France Rail Pass"Sanjay b. 13/06/2015
France Rail Pass is required to be validated physically before first journey. This should be avoided. Instead of paper documents make it digital and make facility like e check in. our tain was was at 7.24. The window opened at 7 with a queue . Hence validation before travel was a bit hassle. other wise very comfortable, value for money.

Train ride was fine and there is sufficient space for huge luggage. The pricing is quite standard and considering i bought this from Singapore it is a bit more pricy. The drawback is I am not able to purchase from TGV directly on the main site because I do not own a credit card issued in France. Overall, is recommended and nice ride.

Train ride is good, and the same drawback I had on another review. I am not able to purchase from TGV directly on the main site because I do not own a credit card issued in France. Overall, is recommended and nice ride.

"Good trip"Min s. 21/12/2014
The train was on time. Due to some problem, the coach number was changed, but we had seats. No problem.
"Nice to Paris"Madeline Yuen May m. 30/11/2014
Train cabin was clean and staff was polite and helpful.
"Timely ". 02/11/2014
The train was timely and efficient. The signboard that tells you where to stand for the coach at the station was good and thoughtful. On the train, more places for storage of large bulky luggage is required and these are insufficient now especially for trains that service incoming visitors at CDG airport. Overall, an efficient and value for money travel mode.
"Paris to Nice Ville". 27/10/2014
Spent most of the trip in the dining car to take advantage of the views from there. Could not fault the service or cleanliness. Great trip.
""20 years later"". 05/10/2014
Almost 20 years ago I took a trip from Paris to the South of France. We travalled by train from Paris to Nice. I remember the 5 or 6 hour train ride which included a wonderful dinner in a dinning car. This trip (we also booked in 1st class) which was also around 5 to 6 hours did not have a dinning car and we were forced to wait on a long line in which to purchase lunch, which was just snackes. I would still rate the the trip as very good even though we reported several times to the conductor that 2 of our 5 seats did not recline. He said he would get back to us but never did.. I felt he was not considereate to foreigners but treated local French passengers better. (I do speak and understand French as I know from the past that is a requirement in order to be received well in France). All in all, I would recommend and use the service again. Carl M Valenti
