"Cannes to Paris - 29 Sept"Terry y. 10/10/2014
Comfortable ride though the departure time was delayed by about 45 minutes.

Travellers gathered at the hall to check the platform number until suddenly everyone flocked to the train when the TV screen displayed it. It was chaotic with people trying to get into the train without delay. We thought travelling by First Class should have been more convenient without hassle. However, it turned out that we had to run for our lives to locate the correct coach. The coach was subsequently found to be the most distant one of the train from the platform. There was no tips to tell the travellers (particularly foreign tourists) how to locate the appropriate coach. It should have been highlighted in the ticket for easy reference. The printed e-ticket had displayed problem with the Coach No. overlapped with the Seat No. so we had to guess which coach the First Class should be. Luckily, there was only one First Class coach. The coach door was not automatically closed nor the toilet outside, resulting in filthy smell which all passengers hated.

Was very difficult to move luggage to and from the train with children!!!!!
"Good value for money". 20/08/2014
Everything is fine if you have an e-ticket, but although you do have your seat number it does not state on which carrier your seat is. Only after asking a couple of administrative people at the Cannes station did one lady show us that if you print your ticket it shows you on which carrier your seats are situated. Announcements are VERY unclear in English and Dutch/Belgium on the train itself.
"TGV Cannes to Paris". 31/07/2014
We travelled first class on 21st July 2014 Cannes to Paris on the 13:06. Value for money was excellent and seats in the train were very comfortable. The train left on time but incurred a 28 minute delay due to a trackside fire, not in any way the fault of SNCF. Cannes station offered rather few facilties. It was a disappointment that there was no in-seat food or drinks service during the 5 hour train journey. A light meal or even trolly service would be my normal expectation for first class.

Nice and comfortable ride, but quite pricy.
"PARIS -CANNES". 15/07/2014
PARIS MARSEILLE WAS GREAT. MARSEILLE- CANNES WE PAID FOR FIRST CLASS AND THERE WERE NOT ENOUGH SEATS ON FIRST AND ENDED GOING SECOND CLASS . DONT THINK WAS FAIR .
"TGV to Paris". 21/06/2014
Difficult to write a review as our TGV from Cannes to Paris was scheduled to arrive just a couple of hours before a nationwide train strike. This meant that the train was extremely crowded and made an extra strike-beating stop en route. We were not over enthusiastic about the TGV First class service. No restaurant car and no Wi-Fi......Seats were comfortable but nothing special.
"MY NEXT TRIP"Patrick o. 09/06/2014
A great experience, thank you. I didn't know that refreshments were on sale on the train till afterwards. A map of the route would have been nice. The first time I knew where I was, was the first stop at Avignon.
"Excellent travel experience"Mara f. 25/05/2014
This is the first time I chose to travel to Cannes via train from Paris, and will definitely do it every year (through Rail Europe). It was very easy to book, found very affordable rates, the trip was smooth, and e-tickets were delivered promptly.
"Great trip". 24/02/2014
Had a great trip from Paris Gare Lyon to Cannes and returned using train and happy for giving me a good seat. storage for the luggages are good but for hand carry on the compartment on top of the seat are way too small and need to keep in front on the floor and legs have not enough room to stretch..
"Just perfect"Ufuk Fehmi g. 16/12/2013
Panctual, comfortable and the best way to travel....
"Paris to Cannes"Liza l. 02/10/2013
My fiance and I enjoyed taking the train from Cannes to Paris and then back again. The train station in Cannes is conveniently located to the center of town and the trip itself was fairly relaxing. At first we were concerned that we didn't not fully understand the announcements being made (our French is not anywhere near fluent!) but with each station clearly marked with signs that were visible from inside the train we made it to Cannes without any problem.
"so not tgv LOL". 09/09/2013
We expected the air condition comfort of tgv, and got RER _ we made the most of it with the great family atmosphere and chatting to everyone in our compartment - it was hot though - that is life!!
"Great and comfort"Atef m. 28/08/2013
Great and perfectly on time.
