"Train Madrid Malaga return". 16/11/2015
We took another train journey from Madrid to Malaga and return and I have to say it is the most comfortable way to travel. We find the service clean, punctual and above all the staff friendly. We would recommend this to flying or driving.
"Pleasant trip"Marlene t. 22/06/2015
on time, clean, fast. Better than air transport.

Could be more liberal with tourist travelling with box, that may be classified as baggage. This suggestion come with our recent experience in Marino Zambrano, Malaga to Madrid, we were told just before entering the train our Glass lamps box cartons were not luggage. Thereafter the gentleman who stopped us spoke to his superior over the phone and took permission I presume, and allowed us to board the train.

The journey from Madrid to Malaga was a cool one. Rail Europe trains are comfortable and convenient. We were in the 1st Class and were served well. The only downside was the cabin attendants who behaved arrogantly and had a snooty attitude.
"1st Time Ave Users"David m. 25/02/2015
We were pleasantly surprised with our first experience using the AVE train from Madrid to Malaga. We bought 1st Class tickets online for a very good price. We had a very good meal served to us with wine which was included in the price of the ticket. Would definitely travel with AVE again.

Put the English train system to shame. Very comfortable, peaceful, on time.

"Great ride"Trevenesan p. 07/01/2015
Enjoyed a real comfortable journey between Malaga and Madrid. This was booked online via Rail Europe- booking process was very convenient and tickets were printed at home and same used at the station. Malaga station was really great, only difficulty was finding the car hire return parking which is not properly signed- anyway one needs to go into P2 underground and find the relevant parking as there are no attendants there, and then find the car hire office upstairs. The security and boarding was easy. The train itself was neat, clean and spacious. Plenty of luggage space overhead mainly. There is a well stocked dining car and toilets avaialble. It was a very enjoyable ride.

"Madrid to Malaga"Sheldon m. 02/12/2014
The train was good value and quite comfortable. A few stops along the way which made the trip longer than it needed to be. My main criticism was the signage at the Madriid station was inadequate and confusing. It was unclear where to go to catch the high speed trains. There is another area in the same station that provides local train service.
"Easy way to see the country"Richard d. 26/11/2014
We took the train from Malaga to Madrid simply to get from one place to another. We did not understand the extras that came with the train ride. Compared to our airplane ride, the comfort on the train was remarkable. Seeing the Spanish countryside from the comfort of a high speed train was a bonus. It helped us understand the country so much better.
