Reviews & ratings Lausanne - Paris
"Just Average"Subhash b. 02/11/2015
Seating ok, nothing really first class about that. Swiss IR trains 2nd class was lot better. Food was below average, no Vegetarian food. No choices at all. Quantity very less, luckily we did bring our own food. Tickets should be checked before boarding as did not have Euro Rail passes, this could have been informed earlier or made to bought along with tickets as online pricing was very confusing. Booking Taxi was just perfect. Staff Supportive..Thanks, sorry will not recommend to anyone or never try the 1st class again.
"Perfect combination of comfort"Benigopal c. 16/05/2015
I travelled with my wife and 3 kids. Full marks for cleanliness and upkeep of the train and the cabin. We were on a 15 days holiday and hence had 3 medium sized luggage and some small hand held bags but storage was sufficient to accommodate all of them without any hassles. We are vegetarians (Vegan) and little skeptical about the food on the train but to our surprise the food was very good and we really enjoyed it. The ravioli and the salad were very good. The wine too was very good but in France it always is. Speed was thrilling and the train was punctual to the minute. All in all a perfect journey. Loved it
We traveller first Class and loved it! Food and everything was soo good! Only thing missing was wifi on the train

"Vevey/Paris Trip"Michelle d. 23/09/2014
The train was clean, comfortable and on time - however, i noticed that some of the passengers who arrived later did not have space to stow their luggage (large bags which could not go in the overhead storage area or under the seat).
"Time of the day"Rodolfo b. 17/09/2014
The two cities are quite near, but it is better to take a direct train. We took a train with many stops and near 5 pm. At that time the classes were over and the train was crowded with students.
"Short trip in a regional train"Ross b. 06/09/2014
Good easy trip in a local commuter train. Was exactly on time.
"Baggage"Nurkamila b. 20/08/2014
There isnt enough space to keep our luggage at the nearest baggage area. Therefore we were told to move our luggage to the first cabin where there is larger storage area. Its abit of inconvenience as we were at the other end of the train so we had to push and get our luggage all the way to the other end. But the staff are helpful in loading and unloading our luggage. So far a pleasant journey.
"Travelling 1st class is great!"Etsuko o. 28/07/2014
I traveled in the 1st class seat and it was fantastic. The meal was served at my seat and I was even asked if I needed a taxi when I get off in Paris. I was going to catch a taxi to my hotel anyway, so it was very convenient that a taxi driver was waiting for me on the platform upon arrival even the train was delayed for half an hour. However, it was a pity that toilets were not so clean and the floor was wet all over the place.
"Lyria to Lausanne"Samantha s. 24/07/2014
We sat in first class only because second class was unavailable. This provided meals delivered to you, which were absolutely delicious. The staff were extremely friendly once the train was en route. One issue that most people had on our train (both ways) was that the seta numbers do not work in sequence and therefore finding your allocated seat was a little confusing for most. I would say that there was a shortage of luggage space. There are areas overhead but this is unsuitable for travellers with heavy suitcases. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
"very easy"Michael b. 15/07/2014
We found the train system very easy to use and ran on time with no delays
