Reviews & ratings Frankfurt - Brussels

  • "Bad Experience on my trip"
It was a very bad experience to take the train in Nord station from Brussels to Frankfurt, my first journey to Germany. All trains are cancelled without prior announcement. No email was received. We know that until we took the train to this station. The staff in Brussels didn't help much and lost in temper to explain what we could do. Finally, we had to go to Midi Station to take coach to Koln and took another train to Frankfurt. It took us more than 12 hours.
  • "Train Journey"
This was a simple 1hr trip to connect to a train to frankfurt,
  • "Excellent value"
First class travel with excellent value. Trully enjoyed the trip, facilities and amenities on Thalys. I was fortunate to find a good price to travel on this one.
  • "Smooth ride"
Very nice short trip to Koln. Having assigned seat also help with the planning and enjoyment of the trip.
  • "Most enjoyable trip of my life"
Dear RailEurope team, I would like to point out that I have found your services to be a five star service. I have enjoyed with my travel from Brussels to Frankfurt and Frankfurt to Vienna so much and I have had most enjoyable trip on rail-roads ever. Thank you so much and keep serving this way. Only my suggestion is to have possibility or service of ticket pick up at the train station of departure or via email could have been of great help for people (passengers) who reside outside of Europe. In my case, I have had some headaches with delivery my tickets. Thank you so much for considering my reviews and suggestions. Sulaymon Eshkabilov
  • "nice"
    a little bit expensive
  • "excellent"
I like to travel Europe, by Rail Europe only. my travel to Brussels and Amsterdam was excellent and I enjoyed.
  • "ICE Train Travel Expereince"
The train experience was such a pleasure. It was very comfortable, convenient and hassle-free.
  • "A bit disappointing"
Comparing our trip on Thalys from Paris to Amsterdam which also took 3 hours, we were quite disappointed with what we got on this trip which was not good value for money at all. On both trip we took First Class. Thalys, for 3 hours trip, they served 2 nice meals with complimentary drinks - wine included. Staff on board were very nice and friendly and provided excellent service - much more than we expected. They also provided complimentary WIFI on board. ICE did not serve any meals or drinks. Staff only came around offering chocolate which we were told to take only one each. Also no WIFI on board. We will check thoroughly next time what being offered on board before making the choice on which train to take.
  • "Excellent Staff"
Very kind, professional, and courteous service staff.
  • "Wider passages, please."
The interior is way too narrow, the passages are so narrow, maneuvering large luggage in them felt like running a gauntlet.
  • "Cool as ICE"
When you name a train "ICE" then it's bound to be cool. The seats and the passages are spacious, the ride was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It would have been very nice to have a choice to book a front-facing seat.
  • "A comfortable trip"
The train departed on time but was a few minutes late on arrival which made the connection to the next train rushed.
