Travel inspiration in Cologne and Paris
Cologne, enjoy every minute of this amazing German city!
It’s hard to miss the soaring twin towers of Cologne’s landmark Gothic cathedral. But to see what really makes this German city tick, pick a cosy inn on the River Rhine, order a glass of Kölsch beer and enjoy a chat with the friendly locals.
Paris, the capital of France
One of the world’s greatest cities, Paris! The capital of France is also known as the City of Light. This enchanting city, at the crossroads of cultures, is the capital of fashion and home to world highlights such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and Avenue des Champs Elysées, to name but a few. In terms of architectural beauty, art history, events, gastronomy and sheer extravagance, Paris is a milestone ahead of any other city on earth. Paris has one of the world’s most extensive public transport systems. You can take a taxi if you are not much of an adventurer, but that would be a pity! Metro (subway or underground), buses and city bicycles are much more fun and are very easy to use, even for beginners.
Reviews & ratings Cologne - Paris
I was treated really well during my trip and everything was really comfortable. We had service and availability from the crew at all times, also having wi-fi was a real plus. Will definitely doing this trip again.
It was a pity that France was not included as one of the countries where we could select when chossing the Eurail Select Pass. Regardless, we really enjoyed the convenience and comfortable mode of transportation within Europe. Will definitely be using this mode of transportation again when holidaying in Europe!
One of our best train rides as this was our first experience where the train was on the cruise ship while crossing from Germany to Denmark. Remarkable!
This was a very comfortable train ride, and the service was excellent. Though a short ride (less than four hours), it seemed the attendants were constantly offering more snacks and drinks (included). Would do it again in a heartbeat.
The train was on time, and it was comfortable to travel by this train.
The trip from Paris to Koeln was a first class experience. The seats were more comfortable than the airplane and the service was excellent. The WiFi facility on the train enabled me to complete some urgent internet related business.
Extremely comfortable train ride in Comfort 1st Class. Free Wifi and constant delivery of snacks and drinks. Truly enjoyable ride in no time.
The service is excellent and the trip was comfortable.
I had a great experience on my trip from Köln, Germany to Paris, France. Comfy seats, easy to use, nice bathroom, and breakfast was served. Will absolutely take this again when I have the chance.
Everything was to our liking except that the wi-fi wasn't free!
I am 61 years old and from India, I travelled in Thalys Eurotrain, for my travel in Europe. It is very convenient, and cofortable. People that is the staff both at booking and on board are friendly and helpful.
