Cologne, enjoy every minute of this amazing German city!
It’s hard to miss the soaring twin towers of Cologne’s landmark Gothic cathedral. But to see what really makes this German city tick, pick a cosy inn on the River Rhine, order a glass of Kölsch beer and enjoy a chat with the friendly locals.

Reviews & ratings Cologne - Brussels
Nice train, good value for money. Free Wi-Fi. Comfortable seats.
Pre-booked the train ticket, no hassle.
I bought a first class ticket for my trip from Brussels to Cologne. The price was great and it was an excellent value. They offered food and drink, the seats were plush and comfortable and the train ride was smooth and relaxing.
The service is fine, but the train itself feels overcrowded, especially concerning the very small luggage space, which is always full and usually very far from the seat. Situated next to the exit, these luggage compartments do not feel secure at all. The price is not cheap, but it is a fast train, relatively comfortable. The sockets next to each seat are a very good feature, and the bar is not too expensive, offering surprisingly fresh croissants!
This is what I am talking about a company that delivers great service and comfort. 1st class is wonderful a choice of free breakfast comfy reclining seats and free wi-fi. I slept most of the journey which was exceptional value for money. I actually wished I stayed on until Paris! Well done Thalys x
It was a very pleasant journey, my seat was comfortable and the staff friendly. Breakfast and wi-fi connection were included in the price. I will get it again!!!
The last leg of our train journey was with ICE. No complaints at all. Great way to travel through Europe.
Couldn't fault the service - comfortable, fast and on time.
On time , quiet trains, looked after you in first class.wifi was a bit hit and miss. Get tickets booked early you can save a fortune!!
We went from Brussels to Cologne on first class seats. There was free wifi on the coach and we were given free snacks and drinks for the travel (we travaled at the afternoon). The seats were big and comfortable. The train was cleaned and the staff was very nice. I would recommend it to my friends!!
it will be better if there's free wifi connection upon the train journey.
My journey from Cologne to Brussels was the first time I have used any Mainland European train service and it was a real pleasure. The train left Cologne HBF on time and arrived at Brussels Midi on time, very impressive. The whole journey was very smooth with no problems whatsoever.Next time I travel in Europe I will definitely be taking the train.
Nice trip from Germany to Belgium. Too bad the train is not going directly to Brussels Centraal Station. So you have to buy extra tickets from Brussels Zuid (Bruxelles Midi) to Centraal that cost 2 euro per person. But the rest of the trip is great!
I am 61 years old and from India, I travelled in Thalys Eurotrain, for my travel in Europe. It is very convenient, and cofortable. People that is the staff both at booking and on board are friendly and helpful.
