Reviews & ratings Barcelona - Montpellier
"Unavailable seat"Steven e. 03/11/2015
When I went to sit in my assigned seat there was another individual in it. The staff on the train did not move him and there were no other first class seats available so I had to sit in second class.
"Enjoyable Trip"Shailendra k. 30/10/2015
Trip was enjoyable thanks to the beautiful scenery.
"Very good!"Emil d. 18/04/2015

"Comfort and sightseeing "Marina m. 30/09/2014
Great trip from Barcelona, first class was only a few euros more and totally worth it! Reclining seats which were big and lots of bag storage room. Toilet wasn't that nice but it's a train. The train did have a technical issue and had to stop for 20min in Perpignan and people had to change trains in Montpellier, but that was a quick changeover. Cheaper and easier than flying. Big wide windows and very clean!
"Happy staff the highlight"Jacinta k. 26/09/2014
The journey from Barcelona to Montpellier was as you'd expect from a European train: clean, organised and well, high speed. The highlight was one of the catering staff at the canteen who clearly enjoyed his job and life in general and provided joviality and humour to all he served. My group and I enjoyed observing his contentment and how me made everyone smile.
"Positive"Patrick k. 26/09/2014
We are from the U.S. and had a very favorable experience on the France-Spain train. It was very easy to board, somewhat difficult to place our bags near our car, and comfortable once seated. There was a brief drink service in our car and a movie as well. Again, overall, a great experience.
"Great Ride"Carole w. 11/09/2014
The train was on time and the journey was smooth. A great way to get from Montpellier St-Roch to Barcelona Sants!
"trip"Natalia k. 09/09/2014
excellent trip, fast journey although it was pricey if you wanted to eat or drink something in the train
"We love trains!"Helen g. 31/08/2014
Absolutely no trouble booking this trip and taking this trip. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wish we were there now! and I wish that the US valued and funded such excellent, efficient and inexpensive train service. I wouldn't hesitate to use rail europe in the future and would recommend to anyone. we booked our trip 2 days before we traveled!
"Nice journey"Paula k. 29/08/2014
First of all, the service in Montpellier ST-Roch railway station was exellent and fast. I had to change my trainticket, and I got the best service ever. Merci! The train was clean and nice, and there was space enough to relax. Though it would be nice, if the seats were more "flexible" so that you could turn them a bit backward.
"Luggage"Jeremy b. 20/08/2014
The seats were comfortable and there was leg space especially as we had a table. The problem was that there was not enough room for everyone's luggage in the coach (on average everyone had one suitcase plus hand luggage). This meant that we had to put some luggage at the back of the coach, which was difficult to get to (we were not the last stop) and we had the hand luggage by our feet as the overhead compartment is very small (too small for an average rucksack). Considering the price of the journey we thought that the service would have been better.
"Coach and Seat numbers"Wan h. 23/05/2014
I wonder why train compartments in Europe have very obscure indications of their coach numbers and some of them even put seat numbers in very unlikely places.
"Great"Ehab a. 05/01/2014

"spanish train by the sea"Bridget m. 27/05/2013
