Saint Petersburg is the biggest city of Russia and is located in the western part of the country, in the Finland’s gulf. It used to be the be the capital of Russia until 1917, and it kept from this period a wonderful heritage.

Saint Petersburg is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. The numerous canals and the 342 bridges make this city a romantic place, insomuch it is called the "northern Venise".

Going to Saint Petersburg, you will be stroken by the beauty of the architecture. The Nevski prospect is 4.5 kms long and presents numerous royal palaces and churches with onion domes from the 18th century. The majestic buildings of the imperial Hermitage district form a majestic cohesion with the famous Winter’s Palace in its heart.

Saint Petersburg offers also a lot of museums among the greatest in the world, such as the Hermitage or the Russian museums.
