Rise above France from the highest town of the country, St Gervais les Bains. The village counts about 5.500 inhabitants and is famous for being located on the Mont Blanc, the highest french peak, on the southeastern part of France.

Not far from the italian border, St Gervais les bains can boast about having beautiful landscapes and a great history. There is even an archaeolgical site that reveals the presence of an old fortress.

If you like playing games, you will be pleased to spend an enjoyable evening at the casino. There is also thermal baths if you prefer. Winter sports lovers will thrill skating on the Olympic skating rink or skiing on the highest ski slopes! Heritage amateurs will love visiting the St Nicolas de Véroce’s church, which construction started back in the 11th century but that presents baroque and neo-classic style.

    for the first time travelling by train in europe, this trip was very efficient, comfortable, fast and enjoyable!

    Althouth all went fine, cabin type (no photo, no info) and train info were a little bit confuse for people who is not familiar with train. Train clean up is also a concern with restrooms almost impossible to use after hours.
